4.22.13- Redemption!

After last week's embarrassing episode, I was, understandably I think, I bit embarrassed. Nonetheless, I threw caution to the wind and went back for more today!

So here was the workout:

First- 5 sets of three front loaded squat thrusts (gulp).

After much hand wringing about tearing my shorts again, I got these done with relative ease and little incident. My weights were: 135-150-155-165-165. Boom!

After the weight lifting, we had a speed workout:

-20 Kettle bell swings (for me, the weight was 16 Kg.)
-30 hanging tucks (the proscribed workout was hanging like you are about to do a pull up, then touching your toes to the pull-up bar 30 times. Ain't nobody got time for that!)
- 500 meter row.

I tried to measure myself against another guy at the gym. One who is also still working himself into decent shape. It took him 7 minutes to complete that workout. It took me 4:07. Guess I'm doing pretty decently after all!
